A scary night
What an adventure for a Thursday night. Around 8pm Matt started having some sharp pains in his chest and a tingling in his left arm. So, I called 9-1-1 and the ambulance arrived shortly to check him out. They didn't see anything indicating a heart attack on their equipment, but advised us to head to the hospital and have him checked out. So, Matt rode in the ambulance while I threw some stuff in the diaper bag (of course not a bottle!) and followed with Zoe in tow. Somehow I beat them to the hospital. They ran blood work, did an EKG and a chest x-ray. Everything checked out normal. So, at midnight they released him to come home. Still don't know what caused the pain, and Matt's still complaining of some chest discomfort. I know it sounds like we overreacted a little, but chest pain is serious business. Fortunately Matt's fine. Just a few red marks on his chest from the sticky pads.
